An amazing and incredible virtual reality suit that will turn you into a superhero with the ability to fly. The mind blowing exoskeleton – dubbed the Hypersuit – allows the user to experience completely unique sensations, including flying through the air and swimming in the deep sea.
The suit was first seen at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas, depends upon the arm movements which control the user’s journey. The machine has been built by Paris-based Theory.
Right now, we are thinking that the suit will mostly be used for entertainment and gaming purposes, but could be used for military training or physiotherapy applications in the future.
The exoskeleton requires the user to lie down on top of it, wearing a virtual reality headset. Then, the user’s real life movements control how their character moves on screen. The firm claim that their Hypersuit is the ‘safest way to experience the extreme.
Gregoire Arcache, a representative of Hypersuit, told the Daily Mail : “It enables you to do everything you want with your arms, so you can become Iron Man or a diver, depending on the thing you are going to have in the mask.”
The suit is a prototype and no pricing or release date is available.
